Television

As a preeminent producer of alternative television, Cohen developed the first television series for HBO (Innertube), consulted for and produced the first reality late-night show for Fox (The Wilton North Report), produced the first successful community interactive television series recognized by the National Cable TV Association (Are You There?), directed breakthrough specials for PBS and cable, and consulted for upstart cable companies. She has directed and produced short films for Saturday Night Live, The Comedy Channel, MTV Network, PBS, ARTE, Children’s Television Work- shop, and Fox Broadcasting. She has had films, mini-series and sitcoms in development at major studios and her independently made work has been broadcast on network, public, cable and foreign television.
